Very good news for all sponsors and supporters of future citizen: promoting our protégés is effective. The children feel comfortable, as demonstrated by their academic performance. All the children were moved to the next higher class at the end of the school year in April. Some of them were even allowed to skip a class.
All 25 children were able to significantly improve their school grades compared to the previous year. The improvement was five percent on average across all children and subjects. Most notable: Bipana, Kamala, and Diya improved by 20 percentage points. Binita is even best in class with a grade average of 99 of 100 possible points. Four children reached 95 points on average; 11 more children scored 80 points or more. In the core subjects (Nepali, English, mathematics, science, social studies), the results were above 75 points on average.
