From the perspective of Future Citizen e.V. as a control instance, the following can be said: Our relationship with Bibi Funyal as the founder and director of Future Citizen has existed since 2007. Trust has developed from this. In addition, the leader's personal commitment is outstanding. Between 2010 and 2015, he covered a large part of the costs with his own funds. In return for the immense time spent running and managing the children's home, Bibi Funyal receives compensation that is appropriate for Nepalese standards.

…and controlling

We receive all accounting documents and an overview of business transactions from Nepal every month. We check these documents, check the plausibility of selected costs, create controlling reports and liquidity forecasts. Expenses outside of normal monthly requirements, such as the purchase of a solar system or renovation costs, are coordinated and approved in monthly telephone conferences. On this basis, we decide together which amounts are needed in the coming month. The creation of a larger cash balance in Nepal is therefore impossible.
